Edible Healthy-ish Cookie Dough: Gluten Free, Diary Free, and Vegan

This recipe is perfect for if you’re craving a sweet treat the use of almond flour, coconut flour, and coconut sugar adds nutrients that you don’t get when making your typical batch of cookie dough. There is also no artificial sweeteners in this recipe. You have the option to add protein if you need more protein to reach your caloric goals and you can always roll it into protein cookie dough balls if it lasts that long.

Ingredients:
3 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1/2 c coconut flour
3/4 c almond flour
1/3 c maple syrup
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1/4 c almond butter
1 pinch coconut sugar
1 c dark or vegan chocolate chips (or as many as your heart desires.)
Sea Salt to taste
2 large scoops vanilla protein powder
Mix together and enjoy

OPTIONAL: Add in some walnuts or swap for white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts or add in some M&Ms to have “monster” cookie dough.
